Samsun Cymbals

Mustafa Diril is the founder, head, and foreman of Samsun Cymbals. He started his apprenticeship at the young age of 17 at Istanbul Cymbals in 1988, where he learned the detailed art of manufacturing cymbals from his foremen, Mehmet Tamdeger and Agop Tomurcuk. In 1999, he made the decision to return to his hometown of Samsun and establish his own cymbal manufacturing studio with his family. Here, he significantly contributed to the development and production of two famous product lines for two of the most popular cymbal brands in the world. In 2006, he founded Samsum Cymbals, with only three employees, in a very small studio—to produce high-class, handmade cymbals.
