Our Earth Line produces truly earthy, super-dry, controlled sounds. A strong hammered and untreated surface provides a dark, warm and short tone. The sound is very quiet with much less overtone than lathed cymbals, thanks to a damping oxide coating. The thick oxide coating causes thinner models to sound dryer and quieter. The colour of the oxide coating is random. It can contain black, brown, red, yellow, green, orange, white, beige, blue, or purple—creating a special spirit and character. These colours are developed through an eco-friendly process without the use of toxic chemicals.
